After serving two-years of his prison sentence, an unnamed German man has been released from prison. His crime? Installing malware on numerous computers and utilizing their power to mine over 1700 bitcoins (estimated to be worth $60,000,000).
For two-years, the German police tried hard to crack the man and obtain the password. However, he remained silent. He has since been released, but the question remains — will his silence pay off?
