COVID-19 naysayers, go fuck yourselves.

COVID-19 cases surpassed 20,000,000 infected today with over 125,000 people hospitalized. Hospitalization records have been set 3x alone in December 2020. Today (01/21) there were 3,744 deaths to ring in the new year.

Say you’re in a room with someone infected by SARS-CoV-2. Each time they cough, 3000 viral particles are released. Each sneeze releases an estimate 40,000 viral particles. Speaking releases the least amount ranging < 3000.

Can the virus travel further than 6-feet? Yes. Is the air conditioning on. Is a fan running. Is there a draft? Did someone just walk by you and you felt that slight gust of air wither by?

Say 20,000,000 people were infected with 70% being asymptomatic carriers. That remains 14,000,000 carriers. Say 99% follow their stay-at-home orders. That’s 140,000 assholes who are deciding to walk around and spread anywhere from a few million to more than 39,000,000 viral particles in a span of twenty minutes.

Going to a grocery store, that person will spend roughly 20–40 minutes shopping.

Say there are 20 people shopping at the grocery store. The viruses don’t penetrate their masks because of the humidity of the air and the moisture in a cough/breath/sneeze hits the fabric. But it’s on their clothes. They take it home. Each home has 2–4 members within the family. 20 people x 3 family members is now 60 people exposed by a careless act.

3.5% of those 60 people will now die by your stupid actions. Go fuck yourself.
